Often, consumers want to know what their rights are. We've compiled a list of resources for privacy-related laws in the 50 states. We post consumer alerts to our web site to let consumers know about situations that may be compromising their privacy such as 'phishing' emails, pharmacies using prescription information for marketing and so much more.
Many government agencies put out notices requesting public comment on privacy-related issues. This provides you with an opportunity to express your opinion and help shape policies that affect you and other consumers.

The PRC provides a free monthly email newsletter called the PRC Privacy Update. It lets you know when new consumer guides are posted to our web site. It also informs you of ways to safeguard your privacy and reports on current privacy-related issues. We also send out press releases several times a year.
